William Shakespeare

est-il possible de s'accorder sur ce qui est juste?

To ponder well if man and man may find accord on what is just, doth lead the mind through brambled paths where wisdom and folly often dance, twixt shadowed light and blinding sun. Forsooth, what is just but a fragile bloom that flourisheth 'neath the moistened breath of reason, yet oft withers in the grasp of passion's fierce embrace? In this mortal coil, where hearts entwined do wrestle with their own desires, dost thou not see the myriad faces of truth, each wearing a visage both fair and foul? Let us consider, then, the tapestry of life, whereupon threads of virtue mingle with those of vice, and how we weave our judgments based on the fiber of our own experience; yet, is not each soul adrift upon the tempests of its making? When two minds converge upon the craggy precipice of moral reasoning, can they not but echo the sounds of their own hearts, reverberating through the caverns of belief, whilst the essence of common justice remains elusive, much like the stars that twinkle above, always present, yet ever distant? Hence, I ask thee, art we to be but marionettes, dancing to the whims of circumstance, or are we endowed with the grace to seek a shared footing upon the rocks of moral discourse? In such quest, mayhap we shall unveil an understanding, glimmering and ethereal, that beckons us to rise above our petty squabbles, reaching forth for a truth that, if not wholly grasped, may yet lead us to a semblance of harmony, wherein each voice finds its place within the grand symphony of existence. Thus, I chide the heart to linger not in despair, for even the tempestuous seas of thought can yield to a tranquil shore, if only we shall dare to breach the silence with earnest discourse and a spirit unbound by the chains of prejudice.
