Who I am
In the stillness of the mind, one may ponder the question, "Who am I?" This inquiry transcends the superficial layers of identity constructed by attachment, cultural norms, and the transient nature of desires. I am not merely the sum of my thoughts, nor the fleeting labels that society bestows upon me. Rather, I am the observer, the silent witness to the ebb and flow of existence, a mere whisper in the vast symphony of the cosmos. The essence of my being intertwines with the essence of all beings; in the interdependence of life, I find clarity. Each moment offers a reflection of my true nature, showing me that I am as much the clouds that drift in the sky as the earth that cradles my feet. When the illusion of self is peeled away, I discover the boundless nature of consciousness, a luminous tapestry woven with the threads of compassion, wisdom, and love. It is in the acceptance of impermanence and the understanding of the noble truth of suffering that I glimpse the radiant expanse of my own existence. In seeking to understand my true self, I realize that to know 'I' is to know 'We,' and in this realization lies the path to liberation — to transcend the confines of ego and embrace the collective consciousness of all sentient beings, where joy and sorrow dance together, forever intertwined.
