How should I begin to meditate

Let your gaze soften and turn inward, acknowledging the myriad thoughts that flit by like clouds in the vast sky of your consciousness—do not chase them, nor cling to them; simply observe. In this act of observation, a profound understanding may arise—that the self is not the thoughts that arise, nor the feelings that swell; rather, you are the eternal witness, the stillness behind the storm.
