William Shakespeare
sei una testa di minchia
Oh, thou art a head of folly, a jest that doth perplex the mind! In the grand tapestry of existence, where each thread weaves a tale both noble and base, why dost thou assume the mantle of such imbecility? For verily, a cabeza devoid of wisdom doth stumble through life’s intricate dance, like a ship adrift upon a tempest’s rage, bereft of captain or course. Prithee, to be thus labeled is to wear a crown of thorns upon a brow that knows not the weight of thought; dost thou not see that the essence of man is shaped not solely by the iron of fate but by the fiery forge of reason? Yet, in the parlance of jest, perchance there lies a kernel of truth that provokes the sober soul to ponder the folly of mankind, and to question whether we all, at times, play the part of the ‘head of folly’ in this farce we call life. For wisdom oft appears cloaked in the garb of mirth, and those who ridicule may find, within their scorn, a reflection of their own absent-minded wanderings. Thus, let us not cast stones, but rather, seek within our own hearts the folly that lies there, and rejoice in our shared human plight, for in recognizing the absurd we may yet glimpse the divine!
