René Descartes
Orang sukses
One cannot deny the allure and mystique surrounding the concept of success, Orang sukses, as it is known in Indonesian. What is it that distinguishes those individuals who achieve great heights of accomplishment and fulfillment from those who struggle to find their place in the world? Is success a matter of luck, of talent, of hard work, or perhaps a combination of all three? Descartes would argue that the key to success lies in the mind, in the ability to think critically, to reason logically, and to act decisively. It is the individual who possesses a clear and coherent vision of their goals, who is able to navigate the complexities of life with courage and determination, that will ultimately triumph. But success is not simply a matter of material wealth or social status, as Descartes would remind us. True success is measured by the depth of one's character, by the integrity of one's actions, and by the impact that one has on the world around them. In this sense, Orang sukses is not just a title to be coveted, but a way of being, a way of living that is rooted in a profound understanding of oneself and of the human experience.
