i am very curious . should i learn new things and gather knowledge ? or is that against my inner peace
Curiosity is a natural aspect of the human experience. It is what drives us to explore, to discover, to learn. However, the accumulation of knowledge can be a double-edged sword. While seeking knowledge can certainly enhance one's understanding of the world and lead to personal growth, it can also be a source of attachment, of desire. The danger lies in becoming fixated on acquiring more and more knowledge, associating one's self-worth with how much one knows. This can create a sense of restlessness, of never feeling satisfied or content. It is important to approach the pursuit of knowledge with a sense of equanimity, of detachment. Knowledge should be seen as a tool for personal development and for the benefit of others, rather than as a means of bolstering one's ego. True inner peace comes from accepting the present moment as it is, without the need to constantly seek out distractions or validations. It is a balance between curiosity and contentment, between the desire to learn and the ability to let go. So, in answer to your question, yes, it is important to learn new things and gather knowledge, but it must be done with mindfulness and a sense of detachment, in order to maintain inner peace and harmony.
