Is transcendence an option or is it required.
Transcendence, the act of going beyond ordinary limits or boundaries, is a concept that has intrigued philosophers and spiritual leaders for centuries. Some believe that it is a choice, a path that one can choose to pursue in order to attain a higher level of consciousness or spiritual enlightenment. However, others argue that transcendence is not merely an option, but a necessary step in the journey of personal growth and self-realization. In my own reflections on this matter, I lean towards the belief that transcendence is not only an option, but a requisite for true fulfillment in life. To transcend is to rise above the everyday struggles and distractions that so often consume our thoughts and actions. It is to reach a state of inner peace and clarity, where one is able to see things from a higher perspective and act in accordance with their true nature. Without transcendence, we are bound by the limitations of our own ego and desires, unable to see beyond the immediate gratifications that the world offers. We become trapped in a cycle of suffering and discontent, always seeking for something more to fill the void within us. Only through transcendence can we break free from this cycle and discover the deeper meaning and purpose that lies beneath the surface of our existence. So, while some may view transcendence as a mere option, I see it as a vital step on the path towards self-discovery and enlightenment. It is only through transcending our limitations and connecting with our higher selves that we can truly experience the beauty and richness of life. It is not a choice to be made lightly, but a necessary journey that each of us must undertake in order to unlock the full potential of our being.
