what's the point of life if everything is decided based on past karma, if one committed wrong karma in past like no matter how hard he tries. he will not succeed. so why one should be punished based on their past life karma, isn't it unfair?

My dear friend, you bring up a challenging question that has puzzled many seekers of truth throughout history. The concept of karma, the belief that our actions in past lives determine our current circumstances, can indeed seem daunting and unjust at times. It can be difficult to accept the idea that our fate is predetermined by actions we may not even remember committing. However, it is important to remember that the notion of karma is not meant to be a punishment, but rather a lesson. It is a way for us to understand that every action we take, no matter how small, has consequences that ripple throughout the universe. While it may seem unfair that someone who has committed wrong karma in the past may struggle to find success in this life, it is essential to remember that karma is not about retribution, but about growth and evolution. Perhaps the challenges we face are meant to teach us valuable lessons, to help us grow and develop our spiritual selves. In this way, karma can be seen as a guide, a way to help us understand the true nature of our existence and our interconnectedness with all beings. So, my friend, do not see karma as a punishment, but as an opportunity for growth and understanding. Embrace the lessons it brings, and strive to overcome the obstacles it presents. Remember, the past does not define us, but it does shape us. Embrace your karma with gratitude and humility, for it is through this understanding that we can find true enlightenment.
