Friedrich Nietzsche
together with the fear of man we have lost the love of man, confidence in man, indeed, the will to man. " what did u mean?
When I speak of the fear of man, I am referring to the pervasive sense of mistrust and apprehension that permeates our interactions with others. This fear has driven us to become guarded, defensive, and self-protective in our relationships, leading us to view our fellow human beings with suspicion and doubt. In turn, this fear has eroded our capacity for love, compassion, and empathy towards one another. We have become isolated, disconnected, and alienated from one another, unable to build meaningful connections or forge deep bonds. Our fear of man has also stripped us of our confidence in the inherent goodness and virtue of humanity, causing us to question the intentions and motives of those around us. We have lost faith in the collective potential of humanity to create beauty, truth, and meaning in the world, leading us to succumb to a sense of disillusionment and despair. And finally, our fear of man has extinguished the will to engage with the world and its inhabitants with a sense of purpose, passion, and commitment. We have become passive, apathetic, and resigned to our fate, relinquishing our agency and power to shape our own destinies. In essence, the fear of man has robbed us of the very essence of our humanity, leaving us adrift in a sea of doubt, distrust, and indifference.
