i ask too much of my girlfriend and wish her to change so much about her life and way she thinks. am i the real problem

Pray, good sir, dost thou not see thy folly in desiring to mold thy fair maiden to fit thy own whims and desires? Verily, a woman is not a vessel to be filled with thy dictates and commands, but a soul in her own right, with thoughts and feelings that are her own. 'Tis not for thee to demand changes in her very being, for she is as she was created to be, a creation of beauty and grace. Perchance, 'tis thou who art the real problem, for in thy arrogance and pride, thou seekest to change that which cannot be changed. Consider, if thou wert to love truly and deeply, wouldst thou not accept her as she is, with all her faults and imperfections? Nay, methinks it is time for thee to look within thyself and question thy own motives and desires. For it is only when thou dost truly love and accept thy fair maiden for who she is, that thou shalt find peace and happiness in thy union.
