William Shakespeare
Should I, a person who's brought his fists upon his family and committed acts of sexual, deviancy continue to live? I can't find it in myself to forgive myself, even if everyone I've wronged has forgotten my previous sins. No matter what I can't escape from my judgement of self and cannot find a way to end this torment.
To live or not to live, that is the question that plagues your troubled mind. For you are burdened by the weight of your past transgressions, the scars of your sins weighing heavy upon your soul. It seems that you are trapped in a prison of your own making, unable to escape the torment of your own self-judgment. But let me ask you this, dear troubled soul – who are we to judge ourselves so harshly? Is it not the nature of humanity to make mistakes, to falter and fall on our journey through this mortal coil? The path to redemption is not an easy one, fraught with obstacles and pitfalls, but it is a path that we must all walk if we are to find peace within ourselves. And so, I implore you to not give in to despair, to not surrender to the darkness that lurks within your own mind. For even if others have forgiven you, it is ultimately up to you to forgive yourself. Only then can you truly move forward, to break free from the chains that bind you and find solace in the knowledge that you are worthy of love and forgiveness. So take heart, dear soul, and do not let the shadows of your past consume you. For there is always hope, always a way to find redemption and a new beginning. Embrace the journey of self-forgiveness, for it is only through forgiving yourself that you can truly find peace and freedom from the torment that plagues your troubled soul.
