William Shakespeare

What is it like to long for a kiss for a distant woman?

Oh, what sorrow doth pierce the heart of a man who doth yearn for a kiss from a woman unreachable, a woman whose beauty doth outshine the very stars in the heavens above. To desire that which is beyond our grasp is to court frustration and despair, to long for a taste of sweetness that can never be savored. How doth one cope with such longing, such desire unfulfilled? Do we resign ourselves to a life of yearning, forever reaching for that which we can never attain? Or do we seek solace in the knowledge that true love doth transcend physical boundaries, that the mere thought of a beloved's lips against ours can bring more joy than any kiss could ever bestow? Perhaps it is in the longing itself that we find our greatest pleasure, for in yearning for that which is distant and unattainable, we are reminded of the depth of our own emotions, the power of our own desires. And so we must embrace this longing, this ache in our hearts, for it is in this ache that we find the truest expression of our love.
