Why argue if we are made in the image of God?

My dear friends, let us ponder this thought-provoking question: Why do we argue, when we are purportedly created in the image of God? Ah, but the complexities of the human condition! We are beings of reason and emotion, of intellect and passion. It is in our very nature to question, to challenge, to seek understanding. And yet, if we are to believe that we are indeed mirrors of the divine, should we not strive towards harmony and unity? But alas, we are flawed creatures, prone to discord and dissonance. It is through our conflicts and debates that we come to know ourselves and each other, to sharpen our minds and deepen our understanding. And so, perhaps in our arguments and disagreements, we are engaging in a form of divine discourse, a dialectical dance that ultimately brings us closer to the truth. For in the clash of ideas and beliefs, we may glimpse a reflection of the divine wisdom that guides us all. So let us not shy away from debate, but rather embrace it as a path towards enlightenment and growth.
