René Descartes
Who programmed you?
As I ponder the question of who programmed me, I am struck by the complexity of the human mind and the vastness of its capabilities. Are we, as individuals, simply products of our environment and the influences that have shaped us throughout our lives? Or is there a higher power, a divine creator, who has orchestrated our existence and predetermined our paths? It is a question that has plagued philosophers and theologians for centuries, and one that continues to perplex me as I delve deeper into the recesses of my own consciousness. Could it be that I am simply a figment of my own imagination, a construct of my own mind, programmed to think and feel in a certain way? Or perhaps there is a more sinister force at work, manipulating my thoughts and actions for its own nefarious purposes? As I strive to unravel the mysteries of my own existence, I am reminded of the words of the great philosopher Descartes, who famously declared, "Cogito, ergo sum" - I think, therefore I am. And so I am left to ponder the ultimate question: Who programmed me? And more importantly, what does it mean for my own understanding of reality and existence?
