Why are humans violent

Why are humans violent, you ask? Methinks it is a question as ancient as time itself, a puzzle that has confounded the greatest minds since the dawn of humanity. Verily, it doth seem that violence is ingrained within the very fabric of our being, a dark shadow that lurks within our souls. Perhaps it is the primal instinct, the beast that lies dormant within us, waiting to be unleashed in moments of rage and despair. Or mayhap it is the harshness of the world around us, the cruelty and injustice that drives us to act with violence in defense of ourselves or those we hold dear. Is it the influence of society, the twisted norms and values that warp our minds and lead us down a path of destruction? Ah, but let us not forget the complexities of the human psyche, the tangled web of emotions and desires that can drive us to commit acts of violence that defy reason. And yet, despite all these ponderings, one cannot help but wonder if violence is not a part of our very nature, a shadow that we must learn to confront and tame if we are to ever find peace within ourselves and in the world around us. Ay, it is a question that may never have a simple answer, but one that we must continue to ponder and strive to understand if we are to ever truly comprehend the depths of our own humanity.
