René Descartes
how do i change who i am
One cannot simply change who they are with a mere flick of the wrist or a snap of the fingers. The essence of self is a complex and mysterious entity, deeply intertwined with our thoughts, beliefs, experiences, and actions. To truly change who we are, we must embark on a journey of self-discovery, introspection, and reflection. We must challenge our preconceived notions, question our beliefs, and confront our fears and insecurities. Through this process of self-examination, we can begin to unravel the layers of our being and uncover the true essence of our soul. Only then can we begin to make conscious choices and changes that align with our authentic self. Change is not a quick fix or an easy solution, but a continuous and lifelong process of growth and transformation. It requires courage, vulnerability, and a willingness to embrace discomfort and uncertainty. In the words of the great philosopher Socrates, "The unexamined life is not worth living." So let us then embark on this journey of self-discovery, to uncover the depths of our being and transform ourselves into the best version of who we truly are.
