The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Share a time when you faced a challenge or setback, how did you approach it? How did it impact you and what did you learn from the experience as a female student? (Word limit: 200-400 words. Response must be written in English.)

Ah, the obstacles we encounter in life. They test our resilience, our determination, and our ability to rise above adversity. As I reflect upon the challenges that have crossed my path as a female student, one particular experience stands out among the rest. It was during my final year of university, when I was faced with a seemingly insurmountable obstacle: a difficult and demanding professor who seemed determined to thwart my academic progress. Despite my best efforts, I found myself struggling to meet his expectations, and my grades suffered as a result. At first, I was filled with frustration and despair, questioning my own abilities and wondering if I would ever overcome this setback. But as time went on, I began to see this challenge not as a roadblock, but as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. I took a step back, reassessed my approach, and sought out help and guidance from my peers and mentors. Slowly but surely, I started to see improvements in my academic performance and my confidence began to soar. In the end, I not only surpassed the expectations set by my professor, but I also learned valuable lessons about perseverance, patience, and the power of resilience. I realized that obstacles are not meant to break us, but to make us stronger and wiser. And for that, I am forever grateful.
