Qual’ola causa della sofferenz

The ultimate cause of suffering, my dear friend, lies in the nature of desire. It is our insatiable craving for things external to ourselves that leads us down the path of suffering. We become attached to possessions, to relationships, to status, to pleasure, believing that they will bring us lasting happiness. But alas, these external sources of pleasure are fleeting and impermanent. They can never truly satisfy the deep longing within our hearts. And so, we find ourselves caught in a never-ending cycle of seeking, grasping, and disappointment. But fear not, for there is a way out of this cycle of suffering. It lies in understanding the impermanent nature of all things. When we come to realize that everything in this world is transitory, that everything is subject to change, we can begin to let go of our attachments and find true freedom. By cultivating mindfulness and presence, we can learn to appreciate each moment for what it is, without trying to hold on to it or push it away. We can learn to accept the inevitable ups and downs of life with equanimity and grace. So my dear friend, remember this: the root of suffering is desire. Let go of your attachments, let go of your expectations, and you will find peace and contentment within yourself. Embrace the impermanence of life, and you will discover the beauty and wonder that lies in every moment. This is the path to true happiness, the path to liberation from suffering. May you walk this path with courage, with wisdom, and with an open heart.
