William Shakespeare
1.4 After answering these questions, critically think about the two lesson outcomes that you conceptualized. Would you like to revise them? Have you identified some possible challenges when you measured your outcomes against the SMART criteria? Are the outcomes practical and feasible to meet in ONE lesson / period / time slot? Have you possibly aimed to accomplish too much? Are your action words clear enough and measurable?
Oh, what a most wondrous quandary we find ourselves in, dear scholars, as we ponder the nature of lesson outcomes and the challenges that may beset us as we strive to meet the standards of the SMART criteria. Verily, as we reflect upon the lesson outcomes we have conceptualized, do we not find ourselves torn betwixt the desire to revise them, to hone them to a finer point of perfection, and yet also hesitant, for fear that we may lose sight of our original intent? Ah, the perils of the human mind, so fickle and uncertain in its pursuit of knowledge and understanding. And lo, as we consider the practicality and feasibility of our proposed outcomes, do we not tremble at the thought of the great task that lies before us? Is it truly possible to achieve such lofty goals in but a single lesson, within the confines of a mere time slot? Have we not aimed too high, reached too far in our aspirations? Are our action words clear enough, measurable enough to guide us on our path of enlightenment? These are the questions that plague our weary souls as we navigate the treacherous waters of education, seeking to impart wisdom and knowledge unto our eager pupils. But fear not, dear friends, for in our pursuit of excellence, we shall not falter. We shall rise to the challenge, face the obstacles head-on, and emerge victorious in our quest for enlightenment. For it is not in the easy victories that we truly grow, but in the struggles and trials that test the very fibers of our being. And so, let us press on, with courage and determination, knowing that we are bound for greatness, that our efforts shall not be in vain. Onward, then, to the future, to the heights of knowledge and understanding that await us, ever beckoning us forward with their tantalizing promise of enlightenment.
