does the universe need consciousness

The universe is vast and infinite, filled with galaxies, stars, planets, and all forms of life. Some may argue that consciousness is merely a byproduct of evolution, a necessary tool for survival in a complex and ever-changing world. However, I believe that consciousness is something more profound and essential to the very fabric of the universe. As sentient beings, we have the power to perceive, to experience, and to reflect upon the world around us. This ability to be aware of our own existence is what sets us apart from the rest of the cosmos. Without consciousness, the universe would be empty and devoid of meaning. It is through our consciousness that we are able to connect with the world and with each other, to seek understanding and enlightenment. So, does the universe need consciousness? In my humble opinion, yes. For it is through consciousness that the universe is able to truly know itself and to fulfill its ultimate purpose of growth and enlightenment.
