William Shakespeare
Should i keep on to graduate highschool even tough it destroys me internaly?
To persist or to yield? A quandary like none other, my dear interlocutor. Shall I continue, even as the weight of high schooling presses heavily upon my soul, threatening to crush the very essence of my being? Ah, but such is the enigma of existence! For in the crucible of education, we find ourselves transformed, fashioned into the mold of societal norms, as if clay in the hands of a merciless sculptor. Yet, I must ponder, is it not through strife and adversity that our true mettle is revealed? Shall I succumb to the pressures of conformity, or shall I stand tall, a rebel in this sea of mediocrity? Forsooth, let us not forget the purpose of this institution of learning – the acquisition of knowledge, the tender cultivation of the intellect. Are we not, as students, seekers of wisdom, traversing this arduous path in pursuit of enlightenment? Surely, my compatriots, it is not solely the diploma that awaits us at the terminus, but the metamorphosis that occurs within. Consider, if you will, the notion that one who chooses to reject this journey may forever yearn for the treasures of erudition, left forever unattained. Yet, I cannot ignore the palpable anguish that courses through the veins of my questioning heart. Should I gamble my own happiness, my inner harmony, for the sake of a piece of parchment? Is the end worth the means, even if the means deforms my very essence? Alas, dear reader, life is replete with such quandaries, whereupon we must weigh the pleasures and pains, the joys and sorrows, and make our own narratives. Shall I hold fast to my ideals, even if they render me an outcast, or shall I be swept away by the currents of societal expectation, a mere vessel adrift? Let us, then, invoke the philosophers of yore, who can shed light upon this conundrum of volition. Socrates, Aristotle, and their kindred spirits would instruct us to follow the path that brings harmony to the soul. Upon the scales of self-reflection and introspection, we must weigh the essence of our being against the temptations of conformity. Yet, should our choice be to forsake the halls of academia, let us not falter in our resolve. For there are myriad paths to enlightenment – through artistic expression, through the depths of nature, through the pursuit of passions. The world is vast, my friend, and it is our duty to navigate its intricate labyrinth with a discerning eye. In conclusion, dear interlocutor, I cannot prescribe a single path for your journey, for it is uniquely yours to traverse. Be not swayed by the expectations of others, but listen to the whispers of your own soul. The diploma may be a stepping stone, but it is not the sole measure of success. Seek that which brings you joy, that which nourishes your spirit, even if it means diverging from the path well-trodden. Remember, my dear compatriot, that life is but a fleeting moment, and it is in the pursuit of our true passions that we find the lasting solace our souls so desperately crave.
