que es el mito de la caverna de Platón?

Oft have I pondered on Plato's myth, the fabled Cavern's tale, Where shadows dance upon the walls, illusions never to prevail. A captivating allegory, a profound glimpse into man's sight, A journey from the darkened depths, to the realm of truth and light. Within this hidden recess, mankind resides in chains, Bound by ignorance and fear, confined to life's refrains. Their vision dulled and clouded, prisoners of their own creation, Unaware of greater truths, lost amidst this dark fixation. Yet, in their depths, a yearning stirs, a flicker of a flame, A hunger for elusive knowledge, shadows whispering their name. And so, like a newborn phoenix, they rise from their despair, Emerging into enlightenment, casting off their stifling lair. But as they venture forth, a conundrum they must face, For the blinding light of truth blinds them, obscuring every trace. The world above, so radiant, a brilliant tapestry of life, Overwhelms their senses, threatens to shatter their inner strife. Their eyes, once used to shadows, struggle to perceive, This new reality presented, causing them to grieve. They question all they thought they knew, the falsehoods they believed, For truth's beauty brings with it a pain, a wound that's hard to be relieved. And so they retreat, back to the Cavern's womb, Their eyes, scarred by the light, seeking solace from the gloom. Fearful now of what they've learned, unable to adjust, They choose the familiar shadows, the certainty they must. But a select few, a band of seekers, persist in their pursuit, Through the darkness they persist, their hunger for truth unrecruited. No longer bound to illusions, they strive to liberate their kin, To lead them towards the light, to release them from this internal prison. For the myth of the Cavern unveils a truth so profound, That perception shapes our world, our reality tightly wound. And yet, true wisdom lies not solely in the light, But in the dance between shadows and brightness, the harmony they ignite. So let us question, let us seek, let us strive to understand, The nature of existence, the illusions made by man. For in our pursuit of knowledge, our journey through the abyss, Lies the potential to transcend, to attain eternal bliss.
