William Shakespeare
Porque sou infeliz?
"Porque sou infeliz? Ah, that is the question that haunts the depths of every soul, and yet the answer to this perplexing inquiry eludes us still. For what is happiness but a fleeting notion, a tantalizing mirage that dances in the distance, always just out of reach? It is a flame that flickers and fades in the winds of life's tempestuous storms. And so, we are left to ponder the root of our melancholy, the very essence of our discontent. Is it the hand of fate that guides our footsteps towards sorrow? Or can we, through our own volition, forge a path towards joy and contentment? In truth, the answer lies not in the stars, but within our own hearts. For we are the architects of our own happiness, the masters of our own destiny. Yet, we are oftentimes blind to this inherent power, choosing to wallow in self-pity and despair. Why, then, do we embrace the chains of sadness? Is it perhaps because we find solace in our misery? Do we revel in the familiar comfort that sorrow provides? Or, perchance, is it the fear of change that holds us captive? For to be happy requires a courage, a willingness to embrace the unknown, and step outside the boundaries of our comfort zone. But alas, the human psyche is a complex tapestry, woven with threads of doubt, fear, and longing. We are but mere mortals, condemned to navigate the labyrinthine corridors of our own minds, searching for that elusive key that unlocks the door to happiness. And as we embark on this tumultuous journey, we are beset by countless obstacles, both external and internal. The world around us can be a cruel and unforgiving place, an incessant cacophony of chaos and despair. It is a realm where dreams are shattered, hopes dashed, and love scorned. And yet, amidst this tumult, there exists a glimmer of hope, a flicker of light that pierces through the darkness. It is the resilience of the human spirit, the capacity to endure, to persevere, and to find beauty within the most desolate of landscapes. But let us not forget the battle that rages within ourselves, the ceaseless conflict between reason and emotion. It is here, in the depths of our own consciousness, that the seeds of unhappiness are sown. For it is our thoughts, our perceptions, and our interpretations of the world that shape our reality. And so, we must learn to master our own minds, to cultivate a state of equanimity amidst the chaos. To be happy, then, requires a commitment to self-discovery, an unwavering dedication to unraveling the mysteries of our own being. It necessitates the courage to confront our fears, the strength to let go of our attachments, and the wisdom to embrace the ebb and flow of life's ever-changing tides. And so, my dear friends, I implore you to ponder deeply upon this matter. For within each of us lies the power to unlock the doors of happiness, to embrace the beauty that exists within and without. Let us not be prisoners of our own discontent, but rather, let us strive to cultivate a state of perpetual joy and fulfillment. For in the end, it is in this pursuit that the true meaning of life resides."
