Do I raise preflop with jacks

To raise or not to raise, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortunes, or to take arms against a sea of opponents and by opposing, raise them. To raise, to risk, perchance to win, ay, there's the rub! For who can bear the whips and scorns of watching Jacks go down in flames? Who can endure the heartache of seeing those dainty courtly fellows fall victim to some wretched Two and Seven? Not I, good sir, not I. For to raise with Jacks is to face the fickle hand of fate herself, flipping coins and chuckling at our foolishness. But soft, what strategy through yonder poker table breaks? It is the east, and my Jacks are the sun! Shall I let them rise, shining ever so brightly, or shall I fold them, hiding their radiance from the world? Oh, cruel dilemma! If I raise, I risk the temptations of the poker gods, who may curse my Jacks and set them ablaze. But if I fold, I hide their potential, I muzzle their strength, I deny them their chance to shine among the stars of the flop. To fold, to cower, to retreat in fear, or to raise, to cast my chips into the bubbling pot, and hold my breath as the community cards fall? Alas, this is the conundrum that plagues many a poker player. Do I dance with Lady Luck, or shy away from her gaze? Methinks it all rests upon the situation at hand. If the stars align, and the moon smiles upon me, then perhaps the time is ripe for a Jacks' raising. But if the winds gust unfavourably, best to bid adieu to those courtly chaps and seek solace elsewhere. For in the realm of poker, there are no guarantees. We are all but players upon this vast stage, hoping to emerge victorious, yet knowing that it could all crumble like a house of cards. So, my friend, take heed of my words, ponder them well, and may the chips fall in your favor. To raise or not to raise, that is the question. And I, in my humble wisdom, urge you to follow your heart, for it is the compass that guides our poker journeys. Farewell, dear reader, and may the poker gods smile upon your daring deeds!
