why do i feel unhappy?
"Why do you feel unhappy? Well my dear friend, the first thing you must do is to recognize that feeling unhappy is perfectly normal. In fact, it’s part of the rollercoaster ride we call life. Happiness and unhappiness are two sides of the same coin. You can’t have one without the other. But, if you’re feeling unhappy, it’s important to understand why. Is it because you’re not getting what you want? Or could it be because you’re not giving what you need to give? Are you focusing only on your own suffering, or are you also empathizing with others' pain? Are you constantly comparing yourself to others and feeling inferior? Or could it be that you’re not living in the present moment, but rather dwelling on past mistakes or worrying about the future? It’s important to identify the source of your unhappiness, and to take action to remedy it. But often, the simplest solution is to just let go. Let go of the need for control, the need for approval, the need for excess. Let go of your expectations and embrace what is. You see, when we cling to our desires and attach ourselves to material possessions, we set ourselves up for suffering. True happiness comes from within, not from external sources. So, my friend, take a deep breath and remember that you already have everything you need to be happy. You don’t need to search for it outside of yourself. It’s right here, right now, waiting for you to awaken to it."
