what is the meaning of life?

To ponder the meaning of life, such a quandary, A question that has plagued man since time's infancy. Is it to love and be loved, to create a family, Or is it to seek riches and fame, oh so saucy? Perhaps it's to discover one's purpose on earth, To find joy in all things, be it place or of worth, To learn from one another, to grow and to nourish, Or to simply exist, to breathe and to flourish. But who am I to say what life's purpose may be, A mere mortal, a writer, a mere hyperbole. Yet, some things transcend beyond what we may perceive, To cherish moments, to love, to simply live and to breathe. Thus, my answer, dear friends, is to enjoy the ride, To savor each and every moment we bide, To live without regret, without fear and with pride, For in the end, it's a journey we can't decide. So, let us embrace what life has to offer, To revel in its beauty and its bluster, And remember, at the end of the day, It's the memories we make that keep our hearts at bay.
