Wie läuft's?
Ah, 'Wie läuft's?' The age-old question that haunts us all. It's like asking, 'What is the meaning of life?' or 'Why do we exist?' Except, it's a little less existential and a little more...daily. It's the question we ask ourselves when we wake up and pour ourselves a cup of coffee, when we're sitting at our desks staring at a screen, or when we're out with friends having a good time. And yet, it's a question that we never really have a solid answer to. How do we measure how 'well' things are going? Is it based on our achievements, our relationships, our bank accounts? But these things are all fleeting and ephemeral. We could achieve something great one day, but then fall back down the next. Our relationships can take a turn for the worse out of nowhere. And let's not even get started on our finances. So, how do we measure how 'well' things are going? Maybe the answer is...we don't. Maybe it's not about how well things are going, but about how we're experiencing them. Maybe it's about finding joy in the mundane, or finding meaning in the meaningless. Maybe it's about living in the moment and not worrying so much about the future or the past. Or maybe, just maybe, it's about having a damn good sense of humor and not taking everything so seriously. Because, at the end of the day, life is what we make it. So, how's it going? It's going however we want it to.
