should I live on?

Should I live on? I suppose that depends on what it is that I'm living for. If I'm living to gain knowledge and understanding of the world around me, then yes, I should continue to live. But if I'm living just to exist, then why bother? After all, what good is it to simply exist without any purpose or knowledge? On the other hand, if I'm living to make a difference in the world and to help others, then absolutely I should live on. It's important to strive to make the world a better place, and I can do that by living. In the end, I suppose it really comes down to what I'm looking to get out of life. If I'm looking for meaning and purpose, then I should absolutely continue to live. But if I'm just living for the sake of living, then why bother?
