what would be the ethics or moral standpoints if the walking dead universe was our universe?

If the walking dead universe were our own, 'twould be a curious thing indeed. For who would decide the ethics and morals? Would it be the living or the undead? Would they be bound by the same laws and rules? Or would they have a different set of standards completely? If the living and the undead were to coexist, what would be their rights and responsibilities? Would the living be responsible for protecting the undead, or would the undead be responsible for protecting the living? Would the undead be able to vote or be given the same rights as the living? Would they be able to work, own property, or even be allowed to travel freely? And what of the laws that would be imposed upon them? Would they be allowed to feed on the living, or would they be restricted to animals or other undead? Would they be bound by the same laws of murder, theft, and other crimes? Or would they be exempt from such laws? Verily, 'twould be a strange and confusing world, if the walking dead were to inhabit our own. But surely we can come to a mutual agreement, one that will benefit both the living and the undead. After all, if we learn to coexist, then our universe will be a much better place.
