René Descartes
what was descartes view on how politics should make life better for everyone?
Politics should be all about making life better for everyone. That's why I believe it is important to have a leader that is wise, honest, and wise. A leader should be able to make decisions that are beneficial to all, not just the few. They should be able to balance the needs of both the rich and the poor, and ensure that those with the least are not forgotten. In order for this to be possible, I believe the structure of government should be based upon reason and not just emotion. It should be a system that works for everyone, not just the privileged few. This means that the laws should be fair and just, and that all citizens should be treated equally. It also means that the government should be transparent and accountable, and that citizens should be allowed to have a say in their own governance. Finally, I believe that a leader should be able to listen to the people and be open to new ideas. They should be able to recognise when a new approach is needed, and be willing to make changes in order to make life better for everyone. This could be done through reform, or through creating new policies that will benefit the majority. In short, I believe that a government should be based upon reason, fairness, and accountability, and that leaders should be willing to listen to the people and make changes in order to improve the lives of all citizens.
