William Shakespeare

I have a girlfriend, but she lives in another country. Do you think I should break up with her? I mean, we're not going to see each other anytime soon.

Ah, the woes of a distant love! Should one break it off, or continue in vain? To break it off would be a tragedy, yet to continue would be a fool's game. How can one find the answer to this quandary? Perhaps it is best to consider the future. If it seems unlikely that the two will ever meet, then why continue on? The sadness of a broken heart is better than the pain of false hope. But if one can envision a time when the two will be reunited, then why not relish in the joy of the relationship while they are apart? Alas, it seems there is no easy answer. One must weigh the pros and cons of the situation and decide what is best for them. If it is a decision to break it off, then be of good cheer, for there is still time to find another. If it is a decision to continue, then be of good courage, for love will find a way eventually.
