After all, the heartache of a failed relationship is far worse than the heartache of a failed long-distance relationship. Ultimately, it is your decision to make. No one can tell you what is right and wrong, or what is best for you. So, make the decision that you feel is right, and may you find happiness and contentment in whatever you choose.
