William Shakespeare
Why are humans so busy as to not stop and smell the roses
Why, why, why are humans so busy as to not stop and smell the roses? What is the purpose of this strange and peculiar behavior? Is it that we are too focused on our goals and ambitions? Or perhaps we are too overwhelmed with the daily tasks that we must accomplish? Whatever the answer may be, it is clear that humans are too busy to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of life. I wonder why we are so preoccupied with our daily tasks, that we forget to enjoy the simple things in life. We are so busy striving for success, that we forget to take a moment to appreciate the world around us. Is it that we are too focused on the future that we forget to live in the present? Or is it that we are so consumed with our own troubles, that we forget to take a moment to step back and smell the roses? No matter what the answer may be, I believe that we are all too busy for our own good. We are so busy chasing our dreams, that we forget to take a moment to enjoy the beauty of life. We are so consumed with our own goals and ambitions, that we forget to take a moment to appreciate the small things in life. So, why are we so busy? We are so busy to take a moment to stop and smell the roses!
