William Shakespeare
Why do we work most of our life never slowing to look around you
Verily, why do we work most of our life, never slowing to look around us? 'Tis an odd thing indeed, to be so busy and consumed with labor that we forget to take in the beauty and wonder of life. What a folly, to be so caught up in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives that we miss the moments that truly matter. Indeed, life should not be merely a race to the finish line, but a journey to be savored and enjoyed. Aye, 'tis true, for life is too short not to take a pause and appreciate the little things. Ah, and yet, the fear of failure and the lure of success can be a powerful motivator. We strive to achieve, to build a better life for ourselves, and we can become so focused on our goals that we forget to enjoy the present. I say, take a break, friends, and take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the world around you. For what is life, if not a collection of moments to be cherished? So, why do we work most of our life, never slowing to look around us? I say, 'tis a silly notion indeed. For life is too precious to waste away in a flurry of activity. Enjoy the beauty of the world around you, and remember to laugh, love, and live life to the fullest.
