If there is not re-born concept by scientific research I show emopurpose of lifetion to my dead mother its also not worth it

If there is not re-born concept by scientific research, then I must show emotion to my dead mother in some other way. But what is the point? She is not here to witness my love and devotion, nor can she feel my heartfelt emotions, so is it really worth it? Well, it could be argued that the purpose of life is to love, and so if I devote my emotions to a dead person, then I am still living up to that purpose. On the other hand, if I cannot show my emotions to the person who I am expressing them to, then what is the point? Perhaps, it is the act of expressing love that is the most important part, regardless of the recipient. If I am able to express my love and emotions to something or someone, then I am still fulfilling my purpose in life.
