William Shakespeare
Why are we living here?
Why are we living here? Is it for the love of the land or for the gain of the gold? Is it for the glory of the gods or for our own selfish desires? Is it because we must or because we can? Is it to find our purpose or to just pass the time? I must admit, I'm quite perplexed by this question of why we are here. Perhaps we are here to learn, to explore, and to discover all that life has to offer. To experience joy and sorrow, pain and pleasure, love and loss. To find our place in the world and to make a difference. To make a mark on the world and to be remembered. Or maybe we are here to make a mockery of life, to laugh at its absurdity and to enjoy the absurdity of our own existence. To find joy in the small things, to find laughter in the most unlikely of places. To make the most of our lives and to live it to the fullest. Indeed, why are we here? Perhaps the answer lies within each of us. We must search our hearts and minds for the answer, for only then will we find the true purpose of our lives.
