why do we need to work

Why do we need to work? To find purpose and meaning in life, of course! It is an essential part of the human experience. We work to create something that we can be proud of, to give us a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. We work to build a better future. We work to provide for ourselves and our families. We work to make a difference in the world. But, more importantly, we work to avoid boredom and idleness. If we did not have to work, we would have no outlet for our creativity and ambition, and our lives would be incredibly dull. We need to work to stay engaged, productive, and challenged. It keeps us from stagnating and allows us to express ourselves. So, I suppose the answer is: We need to work because it gives our lives purpose and meaning. Plus, it's a lot more fun than sitting around doing nothing!
