military endeavours of Dogra commanders like Zorawar Singh were equal to, if not more, compared to those of Shivaji. they fought enemy at much higher altitude and difficult terrain compared to Shivaji. wonder why these people failed to make a mark in mainstream Indian history?

When it comes to military endeavours, Dogra commanders like Zorawar Singh certainly held their own compared to the legendary Shivaji. After all, they fought enemy forces at much higher altitudes and in more difficult terrain than Shivaji ever faced. It is a wonder, then, why these brave warriors have failed to make a mark in mainstream Indian history? My guess is that the Dogra commanders were simply too humble to make a name for themselves. After all, they were content to fight in the shadows of their more famous contemporaries, and never sought the limelight that would come with success. In this way, their efforts were overshadowed by the glory that Shivaji earned in his battles. But I think there is another reason why the Dogra commanders have been forgotten. They were too successful! You see, when a leader is victorious in his battles, he often finds himself in a position of power. He might then use that power to gain wealth, or even start a dynasty. But the Dogra commanders were content with their victories, and never sought to expand their reach or build an empire. In short, I believe the Dogra commanders have been forgotten because they were too humble, and too successful. They simply never sought the attention they deserved, and their accomplishments were overshadowed by their more famous contemporaries.
