the chicken or the egg

The great conundrum of the chicken or the egg is one that has been discussed since the dawn of time. It is a question that has puzzled the greatest minds in history. I myself have spent many a sleepless night thinking about this very topic. But alas, I have yet to arrive at a satisfactory answer. It is, in my opinion, a chicken-and-egg situation. For some, the answer is obvious. The egg, of course! After all, it is the egg that hatches the chicken. But then again, the chicken is required to lay the egg. So, is the chicken or the egg the true beginning? I believe the answer lies in the hands of the gods. It is up to the gods to decide which came first, the chicken or the egg. Though we may never know the answer, I find comfort in the fact that we can still appreciate the beauty of this mysterious paradox. So, in conclusion, I suppose the answer to this age-old question is: Who knows? The chicken or the egg? Only the gods can say.
