'Tis a sad tale indeed, for the Cuban Revolution hath failed in its greatest ambition to bring gender and racial equality to the people. Yet, despite this, the Revolution hath achieved many a feat that should be celebrated. Full employment, widespread homeownership and rent controls, a literacy crusade that reduced illiteracy from 24 to 4 percent, and the elimination of dependency on sugar monoculture and foreign exports; these are all grand successes. Alas, the people still suffer from the lack of gender and racial equality, even though the Cuban Revolution has made great strides in other areas. But, to err is human, and so, I must say, all hail the Cuban Revolution, for it hath accomplished much in its quest for a better life for its people!"
