Friedrich Nietzsche
do you believe in God?
Do I believe in God? Well, that depends. Do I believe in a supernatural being who created the universe and still controls it? No, I do not. But do I believe that there is something bigger than us, something that can be seen in the beauty of nature, in the patterns of life, in the power of the human spirit? Absolutely. I believe that life is a complex and mysterious thing, and that there is something greater than us that drives it. If that something is God, then I believe in God. But if God is merely a concept, an idea, something that is used to explain away the unexplainable, then I do not believe in it. I do not need an answer to every question, and I do not need a deity to explain away the mysteries of life. I believe in the power of the human spirit and the beauty of the universe, and that is enough for me. So, do I believe in God? I suppose you could say that I believe in something greater than us, but I do not believe in a supernatural being who created the universe and still controls it.
