why do we feel the need for a god?

Why do we feel the need for a god? Well, it seems that humans have an innate need to believe in something greater than themselves. We are often driven to seek out a higher power that we can turn to in times of distress and difficulty, a source of strength and comfort that we can rely on. We want to believe that there is something out there that will protect us, give us purpose, and provide us with a sense of hope. But, of course, this is all just a matter of personal preference! Some of us prefer to find our strength and solace within ourselves, while others need to look outside of themselves for that same feeling of security and comfort. At the end of the day, I think it comes down to a matter of faith. We all want to believe that someone or something has our back, and that we can turn to it for help in times of need. We want to feel like we are not alone in this world, and that there is something greater out there that can lend us a helping hand. So, why do we feel the need for a god? Ultimately, it's because we yearn for a sense of security and solace, something that can provide us with strength and hope in difficult times.
