William Shakespeare
Is user centricity good?
Is user centricity good, you ask? Aye, there's the rub, for in this thing we must consider the consequences of such a thing. Let us take a step back and contemplate this issue. If user centricity be the way of the world, then shall we not become slaves to the whims of our users? Shall we not be subject to their every beck and call? To be sure, 'tis a slippery slope, for the more we give, the more they shall demand, and our resources and efforts shall be stretched thin. But then, perhaps 'tis not all so dire. For if we understand our users and listen to their needs, then mayhap we shall create something of great value, something that shall fill their hearts with joy. And if we are successful in this endeavor, then our efforts shall be rewarded with loyalty and admiration, and our coffers shall overflow. Aye, user centricity can be a double-edged sword, for with great power comes great responsibility. But if we handle it with care, then mayhap we shall reap the rewards of a job well done. So, methinks 'tis good, if it be done with care.
