What to do with clay

Ah, the clay! A wondrous material, so malleable and full of potential! 'Tis a thing of beauty and of utility, that can be fashioned in a myriad of ways. Why, one might craft a vase, or a bowl, or a sculpture of a dog for their mistress. One might even fashion a hat or a mask, or a goblet for their lord. The possibilities are endless! But what of the clay, what should one do with it? 'Tis a question that hath vexed many a man and woman, aye, and even children! I say, why not use it to create something of beauty and utility? One might make a pot for flowers, or a statue of a goddess, or a platter for one's dinner. Or, one might fashion a toy for a child, a little ship or a puppet for their amusement. And what of the clay that is not fashioned? What of the clay that is left to dry in the sun? Why, one might take it and use it for other purposes. One might make a wall, or a bridge, or even a fire pit. Or, one might use it to make a path, or a pond, or a garden. Ah, the clay! 'Tis a wondrous material, full of potential and possibilities. Let us not forget its utility, and use it to create something of beauty and utility!
