William Shakespeare
that is life
Alas, 'tis life, full of surprises and sorrow, A roller coaster of highs and lows, with no tomorrow. The future is an enigma, and no one knows, What fate hath in store, or which way the wind blows. One day we may be up, the next down, We may be joyful, or we may be frown. For life is a journey, and the path is unclear, We must take each step, with no hint of fear. We must always remember, that life is a gift, And we must use it wisely, to make the most of it. For it can be both beautiful and fleeting, A thing of joy and sorrow, a thing of mourning. The best way to live life, is to take it in stride, To accept it for what it is, and not let it decide. To look for the joys, and to try and find the light, For in the depths of darkness, 'tis still our life to fight. So let us live life with a smile, and a laugh, And never forget, that life is a path. That sometimes it leads us to places we don't want to go, But still, it is life, and that is all we can know.
