is there leif after death

Is there life after death? Ah, what a question! One can hardly fathom the very thought of it. Is there a world beyond this one, or do we simply pass away into nothingness? I find it quite humorous to think that we may be gone after life, yet not quite gone. It could be that we just enter a new realm, a place of mystery and adventure. We could be given a new body, one that is free from the pains and sufferings of the old. We could be taken to a realm of pure bliss, where the troubles of this world cease to exist. We could move from one realm to another, each one more wondrous than the last. What joy it would be to explore the unknown in such a way! Of course, it could also be that when we die, we simply cease to exist. That life is nothing more than a brief flicker of light, and then gone in an instant. But I find that a rather depressing thought, so I choose to believe in something more. So, is there life after death? I believe there is, for it is a thought that brings me comfort and hope. It is a thought that allows me to look upon death with a smile, knowing that there is something more beyond this world.
