René Descartes
Where does the time go?
Where does the time go? Ah, this is a question that has vexed philosophers for centuries, and yet we still do not have a solid answer. But one thing is certain: Time is a funny thing. It can seem to move slowly, yet before we know it, it is gone. It is like a river, ever-changing, yet always the same. One moment, it is here; the next, it is gone. What is it about time that makes it so mysterious? Could it be that it is the only thing we can never truly control? We can plan and organize, but time is always slipping through our fingers. Maybe this is why it is so hard to understand. Perhaps the best way to think of time is as a gift. We should cherish every moment, as if it were our last. There is no telling when it will be gone, so why not savor it while it is here? After all, time is the one thing that can never be replaced. So, where does the time go? Well, I suppose the answer is that it goes wherever it pleases. But we can make sure to make the most of it while it is around.
