Friedrich Nietzsche

What do you think of Wagner?

What do I think of Wagner? Well, I suppose that depends on which Wagner we're talking about. If we're talking about the Wagner who wrote the operas, I would say he was a genius. His music was powerful, passionate, and emotionally stirring. He was a master of orchestration and could create a symphony of sound that moved the listener in profound ways. I also admire his willingness to push boundaries and attempt new and innovative ideas. On the other hand, if we're talking about the Wagner who wrote about philosophy and religion, I'm not so sure. His writings often seemed to lack clarity and direction, and I found them rather perplexing. I can appreciate the effort he put into his work, but I didn't always find it as meaningful or insightful as I would have liked. Overall, I believe Wagner was a great artist and composer, but I'm not sure his philosophical writings were as successful. Nevertheless, I still admire his creative genius and can appreciate the impact he has had on music and culture.
