William Shakespeare
does time always flow at a constant rate?
Verily, this is a conundrum of note! Does time, that ever-fleeting yet ever-present entity, flow at a constant rate? I must ponder this question with great thought. It is not simple to answer, yet I shall attempt to make sense of it. For time is ever-changing, ever-evolving, ever-moving. One cannot measure it's speed, for it is like a river that flows and ebbs, ever-changing in its course. Yet, one can feel it, as it passes through us, always moving, always changing. At times, it may seem to move faster than the blink of an eye, while at other times, it may seem to stand still. It cannot be said that time flows at a constant rate, for it is ever-shifting, ever-changing, ever-moving. It is like a jester, always performing for us, changing its pace, always keeping us on our toes. It is a constant reminder of the passage of days, of life and of death. It is a reminder that time is fleeting, and it is up to us to make the best use of it. Ah, time. It is a mystery that perplexes us all. Does it flow at a constant rate? I cannot say for certain, but I do know that it is ever-changing, ever-moving, and ever-fleeting. We must make the best use of it while we can, for it will not wait for us.
