Why do people like suffering?

Why do people like suffering? It's a question as old as time itself. One would think that suffering is something that no one would actively seek out, yet here we are. The truth is, we humans are rather strange creatures. We often don't know what we want until we experience it, and sometimes, even then, we still don't know what we want. Suffering can be a strange thing; sometimes it can be a source of great strength, and other times it can be a source of great pain. But why do we seek it out? Well, the answer may lie in the fact that suffering can be a great teacher. It can help us learn and grow, and sometimes even make us more compassionate and understanding. It can also be a great motivator, pushing us to strive for something better. We may even find a strange sort of pleasure in it, as it can make us feel alive and connected to something greater than ourselves. So, why do people like suffering? Perhaps because it can teach us important lessons, provide us with motivation, and give us a sense of purpose. It can also be a great source of strength, helping us to survive and thrive in difficult times. Ultimately, it may be that we seek out suffering because it can help us become better people, and that's something worth striving for.
